"Traveled to Africa with this bag, it traveled through campsites and dirt. Was very impressed with how much it fit and how durable the straps are. Love throwing it around using the handles- it’s great that no matter where you want to grab the bag you easily can. Fits in overhead on Delta flight. Perhaps could have used a waist belt but only if needing to carry it longer. Overall, really happy with it. Could fit shoes on one side, toiletries on other, and many clothes in the middle."

Namibia Adventure

"Took this duffle on my two week road trip around Namibia. This duffle was great. very sturdy even filling it as much as possible. I loved using the end pockets for shoes and one for toiletries. We were on bumpy dirt roads so there was dirt in the truck but not in the bags!! The backpack straps were also really handy when we were carrying on. Or moving bag to tent for the night."

"I have had two evolutions of this bag, and this new version with the flip lid that goes front to back is FIRE! I have had other 60L duffles from other companies and none of them come anywhere close to the following: functional space/volume of storage, easily stashes back into its stowed form, straps that can be easily deployed & comfortable to wear, having an integrated divider and is compatible with the packing cubes. Another feature I love is the zipper lock 🙇‍♀️ Last but not least, I most recently used this bag for a two week overland trip through the bush of Namibia. Daily the bag was being tossed into the sand and dirt. It rode in a dusty storage compartment and everytime it came out, the interior of the bag was spotless and the bag looked clean after lightly being brushed off. Doesn’t get any better 🫡"

My new Cargo Hauler Duffel

"My new Cargo Hauler Duffel got a lot of use on its very first trip out. While it was packed completely full, I was surprised how much it could actually hold. While the zippers are sturdy, I did find the ones on the end pockets more difficult to open and close. The backpack/Duffel straps are incredibly handy and have great design to them, but there was a part of me that wished they were completely removable and could be stowed a little differently."

"Can’t recommend this bag enough!! We have been using Eagle Creek products for more than a decade. Recently took an extensive trip in Africa with Bound For Nowhere and used two of the new 60L duffels and one previous generation duffel. We love them all but the changes made in this new gen are outstanding! The re-ordered main access and more generous end pockets are spot on! From a functional check bag to a storage bag you can leave outside your tent at night this bag has it all. The tuck away straps are versatile and stow perfectly. We especially love the zipper pulls on this bag as they are easy to find in the dark. Highly recommended!!!!"

Great Travel Bag

"I love this bag and the way it opens on the top. We also brought, on this trip, a previous generation of the same bag where the top unzipped all the way around which is a little bit more cumbersome, so I appreciate the change on the top the new 60 L bag. I am testimony that these bags hold a lot! Between my husband and I, we brought three bags, two of the new versions and an older version that zips all the way around on the top. We came home with the same amount of stuff plus a rug, and a small table, which we also fit in these bags! You gotta love a bag that can carry more than just clothing!!"

My Favorite Bag

"My cargo hauler duffel is my most favorite bag. I have the 60L and I take it on all my trips. It'll fit as a carry-on if I don't overpack, and it's surprisingly comfortable to carry with the backpack straps. WAY better than my black hole bag. I love the end compartments/pockets, it's way easier to organize. I've taken it on cross-country road trips, overseas flights, camping, etc. It's the best duffel i've ever had, hands down."
